Dr. Hyewon Hyun



Dr. Hyewon Hyun is a radiologist and a nuclear medicine physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is the Program Director for the Joint Program in Nuclear Medicine at BWH and Harvard Medical School. She is the Chair of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force.  Dr. Hyun is dedicated to innovating the education of future imaging physicians and other healthcare providers who will work to provide equitable care in a just society.

Dr. Ellen Sun



Dr. Ellen Sun is an emergency radiologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where she also completed her residency and fellowship. She earned her M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She currently holds several leadership roles in radiology education at HMS, BWH, and nationally. Dr. Sun has special interests in medical education, musculoskeletal imaging, and emergency, and trauma imaging.

Dr. Michael A. Buckner



Dr. Michael A. Buckner is a radiology resident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He attended The University of Massachusetts Amherst where he majored in biochemistry and molecular biology. He received his medical degree from The University of Massachusetts Medical School. He is passionate about fighting inequality. In medical school, he developed an after-school program to expose underrepresented students to opportunities in the healthcare industry. He was a mentor in the Big Brother's Big Sister's program for over 6 years.





Dr. Hina Jayantilal Shah



Dr. Hina Jayantilal Shah is a nuclear medicine physician, trained in India and United States, and currently working at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.  Dr. Shah has a special interest in teaching, neuronuclear imaging, and therapeutic use of radiopharmaceuticals in oncology. She is also a strong supporter of women and other underrepresented people who work in the healthcare field.  Her vision for the future is that of a world in which education and expertise are across all boundaries.






Dr. David Odo



Dr. David Odo is the Director of Academic and Public Programs, Division Head, and Research Curator at the Harvard Art Museums. He is a visual and material anthropologist, with primary research and teaching interests in the anthropology of art, especially early Japanese photography. Odo oversees the Museums’ academic and public engagement programs, working closely with colleagues from all divisions of the Museums and faculty from across the university to provide academic and public audiences with opportunities to explore the collections. This includes Harvard University course collaborations, student programs, and public education at the museums.




Dr. Jen Thum



Dr. Jen Thum is Assistant Director of Academic Engagement and Assistant Research Curator at the Harvard Art Museums. Trained as an Egyptologist, Jen’s work sits at the intersection of museum education and ancient art. She creates interdisciplinary learning experiences for students across the university, oversees the Graduate Student Teacher Program, teaches courses and workshops about object-based learning, and researches and teaches with the museums’ ancient Egyptian collections. Jen also co-teaches the Seeing in Art and Medical Imaging program for radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She has a deep interest in museum pedagogy and is committed to celebrating the learning potential of works of art for students and the public.
