Will I be charged for storage usage?
HMS IT will start charging for storage and compute usage on O2 later this year (2021) for any labs who do not have a primary or secondary appointment with an HMS Quad department. If you would like to verify if your PI/lab has such an appointment with an HMS Quad department and will not be charged for O2 usage, please contact us at rchelp@hms.harvard.edu.
We do not yet have a specific start date for the start of the chargeback program, though it will most likely occur in summer 2021. For additional information, please reference the new Research Computing Core website.
