Hi Kennedy Scholars!
This is Jeehae Park, your tutor for the APBio.
This week we will look at how pH influences enzyme kinetics.
Did you know you digest meat you ate in your gut? Digestion occurs because enzyme works!
On the other hand, your intestine digests lots of other foods by other enzymes.
Your gut is acidic, your intestine is basic.
What would happen if you move your gut enzyme to intestine, do you think they still work well? If not why?
