PS21 Program Coordinator
Chiamaka Nneka Obilo
My name is Chiamaka and I'm a class of 2021 graduate of Harvard College. I studied Human Developmental & Regenerative Biology with a secondary in Social Anthropology and a Language Citation in Arabic. In college, I conducted research in Dr. Fei Chen's lab at the Broad Institute, where I sought to validate the function of a novel epigenomic profiling technique using computational biology methods. As a result of my undergraduate training and personal experiences, I have developed my interests in translational medicine, epigenomics research, social medicine, and health policy. In high school, I was a Hinton Scholar and a Hinton Mentor. I was also a 2017 Project Success intern and researched the role of the Gasdermin protein family in pyroptosis in Dr. Hongbo Luo's lab at Children's Hospital. I am delighted to be returning to Project Success as the Program Coordinator this summer!
