3:10 PM Hinton Educators Greet Students 

Schools will use the outdoor plaza in front of the Quad entrance to gather.  Teachers will hold up a sign and tutors will report to their assigned school.

3:50 PM  Tutors assign teams of 3-4 students 

  1. Assign one person in your group to be the reporter.
  2. Appoint a time-keeper. Your team has 10 minutes to list has many questions as you can based on the Hinton portrait. 
  3. Select your top 3 questions. 
  4. Practice changing a OR to a CR & CR to OR

Tutor groups will complete activity as a larger group.

  1. Markup 1 Big Idea Poster (Tutors select 1 poster each upon arrival)
  2. Make sure all team members contribute their understanding using colored sticker dots.
  3. Tutors and students review the group's understanding.
  4. Select 1 or 2 Essential Knowledge statements to develop a response using the reverse of the poster.

4:45 PM Tutor groups share their poster presentation with another Tutor group.
