View and edit O2 files directly from O2Portal

You can view and edit your O2 files from within the O2Portal web interface.

Select the desired filesystem from the Files tab:

You should then see a list of the files and folder under the selected filesystem:

From here you can navigate inside each folder (if you have the proper permissions) by clicking on it, or by using the “Change directory” button and entering the desired path.

You can view files by clicking on them, and the content of the file will open in a separate browser tab.

You can also use the “view” option from the drop menu next to each file:

You can rename, delete and download each file using the same drop menu.

Selecting the Edit option will edit files in a new tab:

The editing interface provides some formatting options and syntax highlighting capabilities. (Syntax highlighting or font size changes are part of the editor, not saved with the file. So if you look at such a file from the O2 command line with commands like “less” or “cat”, it will still be plain text.)

You can delete, download, copy or move multiple files and folders by selecting them and using the corresponding buttons near the top of the page:

Using those buttons you can also create new files and folders in your current path or upload data from your local machine.

After clicking on the Upload button you should see a pop-up window like:

which can be used to drop or browse to the data you want to upload in O2

There is a max size limit of 10GB for each file uploaded, if you need to upload larger file please read this page
